Growing together study groups
Bible study and discussion groups for adults meet on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the Education Building. Contact the church office for information about the current learning opportunities.
Adult Small Group studies
We read and study the Bible carefully, listen to sermons about it, and hear people quote (or misquote) it frequently, but scripture is something that is intended to be encountered and lived in community. This spring's Small Group Study will help us practice a shared reading and application of scripture that can help to bring the Bible alive in fresh ways. There is no need for participants to purchase a book for this five-week discussion group that will meet on Tuesdays by Zoom at 7:00 p.m. or Wednesdays in person at 10:00 a.m. beginning April 18 and 19. Please contact the church office to sign up and provide an email adress.
Vacation Bible School
Lakeside's children and volunteers join with those from Church of the Good Shepherd, First Presbyterian, St. Andrew's Episcopal, and West Haven Presbyterian each June for a Community VBS. Lakeside hosts this week of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and friendship building every third year. Registration information is posted on the home page in the early spring.
