Although Lakeside Church is Baptist by tradition and heritage, in our worship and practice we seek to move beyond the label of a denomination to incorporate the richness of other Christian traditions. In our community service we support many ecumenical ministries that convey God's love and care beyond the lines of any denomination.


We receive members by affirmation of their faith or by transfer from other Christian churches. We honor the previous baptism of persons coming from other Christian denominations.


We, the members of Lakeside, are persons on a journey of faith. Our church seeks to be a worshiping and serving community where the gospel of Jesus Christ is modeled and proclaimed.

Stewardship Season 2025

On Sunday, November 16, we will vote to approve our 2026 Ministry Plan at our Annual Church Conference after worship. After the conference, pick up your Giving Plan card in the Narthex and prayerfully consider how you can commit yourself to generous giving in 2026 to bless this world through the work of Lakeside Church. 


On Commitment Sunday, November 23, bring your completed Giving Plan Card to present in worship. Your pledge to give generously helps us to know how well our giving will meet our planned financial needs.
