In addition to Sunday School classes for all ages, which begin at 9:45 a.m. each week, we offer opportunities for learning and fun during the worship hour.
Nursery: Childcare is offered for children under the age of three during Sunday School and worship each week. Children are cared for by paid nursery staff as well as a rotation of volunteers.
Extended Session: Children ages three through six are invited to remain in the Preschool Building during the worship hour for a time of Bible stories, games and activities. Extended Session is led by a rotation of volunteers.
Children’s Church: On the second and fourth Sundays of each month from September through May, children in kindergarten through grade 5 are invited to leave the sanctuary during worship for Children’s Church. This thirty-minute activity is designed to help our children better understand worship and its importance for people of every age. Children's Church is led by members of our Children's Committee.
Preschool Activity: Each Sunday night from September through May, preschoolers ages 3 through Pre-K participate in a time of music, Bible stories, crafts and games. Sunday night preschool activities are led by Brandy Adkins, Kathy Painter, and Deb Parker.
Missions and Music: Each Sunday evening from September through May, children in grades K-5 enjoy a fun and educational time of Bible and missions activities and choirs led by Amy Shortt and Lori Joyner.
Other activities are regularly scheduled for our children throughout the year. Seasonal celebrations include a Fall Festival, Christmas mission project, and Easter Egg Hunt and are planned by the Children's Committee.
